A unique outdoor experience working your way through a curated route, activities and giveaways at stops, chances to win prizes, and a fun afternoon with friends!
The Sustain Charlotte team works hard to make this a very family-friendly event and fun for cyclists of all levels! Participants can go at their own pace and complete as much or as little of the route as they want.
Please be aware that streets aren’t closed for as this is an opportunity to explore and experience Charlotte in your daily life without a car. The ride will cover various pathways – the rail trail, protected bike lanes, sidewalks, and greenways – so safety is everyone’s responsibility, including participants.
Get your passport! The fun starts early at the Passport Pick-up Party on Friday, October 17 at Triple C Brewing! Come by to pick up your passport, meet Sustain Charlotte staff and volunteers, and hang out!
If you can’t make it, that's not a problem. You can pick up your passport at the check-in table on Biketoberfest on Sunday, October 19
Don’t lose it! During Biketoberfest, there will be designated stops along the route sponsored by local businesses. While you visit each stop, get your passport stamped by a Biketoberfest volunteer. The more stops you make, the more stamps you’ll have to trade for raffle tickets! Head back to Triple C to get your raffle tickets and enter to win great prizes! Winners must be present at the drawings to win.

Many participants choose Triple C Brewing Co. as their starting place, and we’d love to see you there! But as long as you have your passport, you can start anywhere on the route, opt to go clockwise or counter-clockwise, and decide which stops you’d like to visit. It’s a go-at-your-own-pace, choose-your-own-adventure event!
If you opt to start at Triple C Brewing, be mindful that street parking is limited. Consider riding the light rail or your bike. It’s the perfect warm-up!
End your ride at Triple C Brewing Co. and enjoy live music, food trucks, and a fun time hanging out with hundreds of local urban adventure enthusiasts. You can also exchange your passport stamps for raffle tickets and enter to win some great prizes. Remember, winners must be present at the after-party to win!
The route map will be accessible in your Biketoberfest passport and on our website. Each year, the Sustain Charlotte team works hard to mark the route with signs, road arrows, and volunteers!
